Men and Their Fear of Intimacy - Part 1

Knight

If fear, hurt and disappointment have kept you from entering into your ideal relationship know that you are not alone. When faced with a fear of intimacy, we have three options: quit and run, stay like a frozen piece of ice with no emotion or consciously choose to take a risk and feel the exuberance of being alive. To me, that means taking 100% responsibility for your relationships.

Women are usually taught at a young age to allow “prince charming” to come and sweep them off their feet. Many women watched Cinderella and Snow White when they were younger. Their mothers didn’t know that they were teaching their daughters to look for someone to rescue them and bring passion to their lives.

Is this you? We would love to hear your comments about this and we will continue this discussion next time!

Our popular relationship teleseminar series is available to you! The final call for the current series is on May 5th but you can still register and get all the audio downloads (6 in all) from our most recent series. Register here!

To Listen With Love

Listen With Love From “to let go takes love” To “to communicate with love”...

To communicate with love does not mean stop caring, it means I cannot listen for someone else.

To communicate with love does not mean to cut myself off, it is the realization I cannot control another’s speaking.

To communicate with love is not to try to change or blame another, it is to find the spirit and love in every word spoken.

To communicate with love is to admit powerlessness, which means the outcome of every conversation is not in my control.

To communicate with love does not mean to care for, but to care about.

To communicate with love does not mean to fix, but to accept another as a beautiful gift.

To communicate with love does not mean to judge, but to allow another the dignity and freedom to express themselves without judgment.

To communicate with love does not mean to deny, but to accept.

To communicate with love does not mean interpreting every word to fit my understanding, but fully embracing every word with an abundance of love and acceptance.

To communicate with love means to connect with another’s soul and spirit.

To communicate with love means listening to another like every word might be their last.

To communicate with love means listening to another like their words have the potential to alter life, as we know it.

To communicate with love means listening to everyone like you would listen to GOD.

To communicate with love means listening to you like you are the only person in the world.
